Model 32TC 28 inch plain rib barrel?

Post by Waldyo »

Hi,
Newbie here so newbie question.
I am a little interested in a gun that is advertised as Model 32 TC that comes with 28 inch barrels (full/full) and has what I have been told is an aftermarket rib. As the TC was a trap model was it produced with 28inch plain no rib barrels or is something not quite right with how this gun is described?
Cheers,

The Model 32-TC "Target" Grade was by definition a ventilated rib barrel gun. The options of 28-, 30- or 32-inch barrels. From the March 1, 1934, Remington catalog --

Thanks Researcher, so I can jump to the conclusion if it has an aftermarket vent rib it is more than likely a model A?

A righteous Model 32 TC would be marked as such on the bottom of the frame --

The barrels on the gun could be a set added at a later time?!?
