1187 Police

My preowned 1187 has a Daves EZ loader as well as a ext mag tube.The gun functions well except the bolt will not consistingly lock back for reloading in the open breech.

Short stroking ~ Check gas system, check ammo, keep the shoulder firm.
Check carrier latch and it's components.
Check carrier dog and fit to slide.

Probably not the first 2 things.The gun fires & ejects etc.when you pull the bolt back unloaded.It doesnt consistently lock back.You have to keep locking it back.Sometimes it stays locked back.But it is very sensative to jarring and bolt closes.
