20 gauge 1100 manufacture date help. confusing.
Having a difficult time understanding the date codes for Remington's. Attached are photos of a recently acquired 20 ga. 1100. any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I believe its the 12 gauge frame model. "Standard" model. looking for year it was produced. Want to get a new barrel for her. Currently it has a skeet choked barrel.

I would venture July of 1994. The date code appears to be OO.
