Just signed up on the Rem site.
I've owned many Rem. rifles and shotguns for 50 plus years.
I recently purchased a Model 721, in .300 H&H, 26" barrel, I think it's an AC model.
Appears to be 1952 Mfg. ?
Checkering looks way too good to be an added feature.
Came with sling swivels.
Recoil pad looks like others I've seen online as factory pad.
Black Pachmeyer pad, black and white spacers.
Overall very nice gun.
I have not shot it yet.
Came with one box of old Win. Silvertip, Fact. loads.
I do have dies, a little new W/W brass, and materials to reload.
I would like more .300 H&H new, or once fired brass if it is affordable ?
Gun came with a very old but looks usable Weaver 2X8 pwr. scope and adjustable mounts.
It is not for sale but I would like comments on it's rarity and or value ?
I have other more modern 3X9 Leupold scope and mounts if the old Weaver proves not to be working well.
I do have some questions about the trigger mech. ?
Is this original ?
Looks like maybe a later M. 700 trigger ?
Seems to fit well...

Any comments appreciated
