I just acquired a Remington model 10. It has us ordinance stamp on the receiver and on the top of the barrel. There is no r after the model 10 on the barrel with the barrel is 21 1/2". Serial # is 177686. There is no serial number on the barrel, just the bottom of the receiver. It also just says model 10 on the barrel. No R.
Thanks for any info.

Re: What do I have here?
The receiver with serial number 177686 was put in work right around New Years 1920, so too late for The Great War.
What is the company name on the barrel? During 1920 the new company Remington Arms Co., Inc. was formed and Remington Arms Union Metallic Cartridge Co., Inc. was dissolved.

I have these logs, and tried to find further info on them without luck like how many in the shard, and what are they worth. Any further information is appreciated. Thanks.
