Old Remington shotgun?

Hello! I am new to this forum so if I goof up please forgive me. A friend of mine who does not have a computer has an old Remington pump 12 gage shotgun and wanted me to find out some information on it. The markings are "Remington" and right above the name is stamped "10". Underneath the name is "May6 - 1904". It is a pump 12 gage shotgun. If there is a model number he didn't give it to me. The gun is in pristine condition. Thanks for any help you can give me. I have searched all over the internet and found nothing so far.[/b]

It seems most likely your friend has a Model 10. The link below is to the Remington Arms history site. It shows a picture and gives some basic information on the Model 10. Once you have determined it is a 10 you should beable to find more infromation.
