Have you seen the 4th quarter 1992 Journal?remdog1187 wrote: Mon Jan 08, 2018 10:01 am Shoot 'em. Collect 'em. If you seek info or want to pass on your wisdom I am available.
An updated article if you were willing to write it I'd find very interested because I got one

Re: Remington Model 32 Shotguns
Thanks for posting. One discrepancy. Model 32's serial numbers started in the single digits.
Re: Remington Model 32 Shotguns
I know it's an old thread, but adding info for future looks. Larry Del Grego has Model 32 # 32 in the white/unfinished. So much for the idea they started with 3 digits.
Re: Remington Model 32 Shotguns
Revived this old thread for 32 opinions.
My oldest son won a Model 32 Skeet gun this week on an auction, he asked me out of the 5,400 32's made how many would I guess were actual Skeet guns? The receiver is marked Skeet, has a 26" barrel and matted barrel top.
Any guesses as per trap, field and skeet guns produced?

Re: Remington Model 32 Shotguns
In my 60 years experience, I would estimate 45% field, 40% skeet, and 15% trap. Lots of skeet guns out there, but not many 28" barrel skeets.
Re: Remington Model 32 Shotguns
I would enjoy hearing about YOUR Remington Model 32, especially any graded guns.
Remdog1187--are you still around?
This is an unsigned engraved 32TC, best guess is German engraved during occupation?

A pretty nice Runge engraved Model 32 is coming up in the May Poulin Auction --

The Runge engraved Model 32 is an absolutely gorgeous upgrade.
Very classic look right down to the Hawkins pad! I bet it auctions well, I flipped the sofa cushions real quick but figure I'll be a little short!
Thanks for the link Dave.

Re: Remington Model 32 Shotguns
I started collecting 32's back in the Shotgun News publication days, it seemed to me that I found more TC's for sale than Skeet or Field guns-- no science just opinion. I saved a couple of years of clippings of 32 ads from the early 80's.lowgun wrote: Tue Aug 10, 2021 11:35 am In my 60 years experience, I would estimate 45% field, 40% skeet, and 15% trap. Re: Remington Model 32 Shotguns
That has been my observation too. I've yet to find that really nice Model 32 Skeet Gun that I would want to buy, but at my age I probably wouldn't if I did find it.it seemed to me that I found more TC's for sale than Skeet or Field guns--
Re: Remington Model 32 Shotguns
The Runge 32 in the coming auction seems to be buffed up a bit. Does anyone see it differently than I do?
