Re: Marking identification
The rolling block rifle looks to be a early made rifle with the two line patent date on the upper tang. The star and the crescent stamped on the barrel band looks to be from the Ottoman Empire or it could be Turkish. I know in George Layman’s book on military rolling block rifle he shows a photo of the star and crescent stamped on a Tuskish rifle. He also states that that they didn’t buy to many because they went with the Peabody rifle.

Re: Marking identification
The other marking is a Birmingham proof house marking, so it looks as if the rifle passed through the UK at some point.

Re: Marking identification
Thanks for your help. I add more photos of breech with concave breechblock, saber bayonet lug and rear sights. I'm starting to affraid ther rifle is puzzle made from different rifles. All shows to Egyptian contract rifle, but markings as you and collector's guide from G. Layman wrote Turkish, but Turkish should has different bayonet lug and rear sights look likes swedish type.
