Found this while cleaning out my trove of stuff. Appears to be a box for a Elliot Repeating Pistol. Has price list, and a parts envelope from Lamberson, Furman & Co. Pretty cool, but I have no use for it.....

A friend just told me that the boxes were gun specific, so a smaller box is for the 5-shot 22, while a slightly larger box was for the 4-shot, 32.

This box is 5.25 x 3 x 1.25. Which would it be for ? How much do you think it is worth ?

Hi Rick,

I just checked you dimensions against my Elliots. The 32 will barely fit, and the 22 has some room, so I suspect that it is a box for the 22 Elliot.

The practice on here is that we don't give values unless we can inspect it in person. Boxes are rarer than the guns they are for, and often go for comparatively high dollars, depending on condition. They are also easily damaged and loose a lot of value.

I found this thread and I thought I would add to it.
I have an original box for a 32 and the dimensions are pretty much the same as described.
I think the 22 would be smaller if they are different.
