I have a Model 24 rifle, SN# 117927 in 22 short only. The receiver and trigger guard are Nickle plated and there is a small ring that swivels on the underside of the barrel at 6" from the muzzle. There is a metal tab on the end of the pistol grip with only a number in hi relief #16. I believe I have a factory-made gallery gun. I also have 3 original fast loaders tubes that still work. I have photos to share, just need email?
My question is: Was this a factory option? could it just be ordered? Is there a "Factory Letter" on this gun available? This could have great historical value.
Thanks for your help
