Hello, I recently bought a model 11 shotgun and am trying to research the manufacture date. I couldn’t find it on the website with the webpage provided. After looking through links on the page, it appears to have been manufactured between June 31, 1942 - August 1, 1943 based on other serial numbers I looked at.
If you could assist, I would greatly appreciate it.
Model 11, 12 Gauge semi automatic
Overall length- 42.25”
Left side barrel marked- CY 1 or L then AM with anchor and a unrecognizable symbol
Right side barrel marked- REP 1
Serial number- 484502
Military finish stated on left side or receiver.

Re: Model 11 Manufacturing Date
Doubt you can get any closer than that. I would think the barrel date code should be AMM not AM?it appears to have been manufactured between June 31, 1942 - August 1, 1943 based on other serial numbers I looked at.
A = March, MM = 1943 M = 1921
I guess there could have been a 1921 vintage CYL barrel in inventory that got used. Such an early barrel would be just stamped with 12 GA. About 1939/40 they started including the chamber length in the markings --
Re: Model 11 Manufacturing Date
Looks like the barrel has both on it. So not sure what to say about the barrel.

Model 11 Manufacturing Date
Hello,
Could anyone here also help me with my manufacturing date? My serial number is 50863, and the barrel says "FULL" on the side.
Thanks,
Robert

1908 - it's on the serial list off the manufactured page.
