Hi, I just spotted someone selling a 1903 A4 trigger guard. I was not aware of one. Does anyone know if Remington made a special reinforced trigger guard for the A4? I was given an original A4 scope and rings years ago and wanted, at the time, to buy anything A4 related to complete any A4 I might find. This was a time when A4 parts could be bought for change, even original leather check pieces, but I guess most of us may have that story. Never did buy anything else and it seems it's a little too late, but I would like to know what was different or specific regarding the 03A4 aside from bolt, stock and scope related items.
Hope this is not too long, thanks
03A4 question
Re: 03A4 question
just thought of another one. The scope i have is a m73b1. Is the correct ww2 caring case a m76, which i have only seen a photo of, or the m65?

Re: 03A4 question
early models didn't have a reinforced guard, so depending on when the rifle was made.
