Remington model 572 Choke bore ..what is it worht?..help.

Hi everyone,

I am new to this web page and recently I inherit two Remington model 572 choke bore 22LR and was trying to see if anyone can help me with when they were manufactured and what they were worth. I have tried to look up prices and they seem to be all over the place, not sure if the $400 guy is under priced or the $1500 is over priced.
Appreciate all the help.

If I have it right...the R M 47 was manufactured November of 1921 and the D M Y was manufactured September of 1922.

Anyone can confirm that please?

Also was thinking of keeping one and selling the other.....any suggestion where it would be the best place to list a vintage gun like this?

Since the M-572 wasn't introduced until 1955 they can't be older than that.
The code DM is 9/1965 and the RM is 11/1965. The 572 was made in both Choke Bore and Regular Smooth Bore.
I don't know which is more common. I will say, I paid $500 for mine a few years back.
