First post on this board. Thanks for having me. Some of you may recognize my handle from a couple other popular gun boards. Same Big Redhead - by name and by nature.

I've owned countless rifles over the years, including Remingtons. The learning, and the fun, never stops. That's one of the good things about this passion - it survives the participant. Been handloading and hunting Michigan whitetails for 35 years and killed a pile of them, and not a single one with a factory load. Not sure why, but I'm a bit proud of that.
My current Remingtons include a 700 BDLSS in 375 H&H (my any-game/any-weather/anywhere rifle), a super-accurate 7 SS in 260, and a cherry 760 in 257 Bob made in 1954 (a year before the caliber appeared in the Remington catalog). There have been many others, but the realities of single-income/father-of-four life tend to dictate the quantity owned at any given time. Anyway, God has been good to us.
Be seein' ya'.
Live well
