That is simply OUTSTANDING!!! The engraving is different then what I took pics of from my Model 12 (see the other thread posted?) - but, I still have no idea what I have!!!

Also - your fore-end is beautiful!!!

As a "newbie" (me ;) ) - thanks for posting these!!

Thanks, your post is what inspired me to post these...

Well irregardless of what you have it's also VERY NICE!!! In fact I'll double what you paid for it but I'm sure I have to get in line behind a lot of other people who would do the same...

The 1913 catalog says the "E" only had a game panel on the left side. This rifle shows a game panel on both sides. The only other thing that I find strange is the grade of the wood. The "F" grades I have seen have more grain showing. The wood still looks Remington but not "F" grade. Great gun!
