Nylon 66 Scope and Rings Recommendation

Post by rWt »

Just purchased a Nylon 66 produced in 1962.

Does anyone have a recommendation(s) for a vintage or new scope and rings that I should acquire for it-one the "looks right" on it? It will be used for offhand plinking.

Thank you!

I have one of the tiny Redfield 4x, 3/4 inch scopes on one of mine and love it. It compliments the compactness of the rifle and has a realistic power for a 22.

I have one from 1962 (acquired in 1993) that had/has a 4X Bushnell "Banner 22" scope on it.
From the looks of it and the mounts, it appears to be original.
