Hello,
I am looking for a left hand hammer for a side by side with the serial number of 55922. Does anyone have any info on where I could find one? Gun shows have produced nothing for me. Thanks for any help.

you might try the parts section of this sight,or see if you can have a gunsmith make one for you like http://www.brileys.com they are very compitent
or if it means that much to you see if you can find and old junker with similer hammers and buy that and switch both out. many other brand shotguns duplicated remingtons hammer style. also if originality does not bother you then get a set of hammers for a different gun and fit them
to yours, just heat them up and shape them to your gun and temper
them to the correct hardness. hope this helps
