Tube Magazine capacity for Remington 241 in .22 short?

Hi there-

I was wondering what the capacity of the tube magazine for this rifle is- does anyone know offhand? I am asking because I am having difficulty loading more than 10 rounds, and that seems like too few especially for a .22 short.

The advertised capacity for the magazine is 15 short cartridges. The LR version holds 10. You probably have a bend or burr either in the outer or inner magazine tube. I would start by removing the inner tube and checking it out. See how freely the spring compresses...
