1880-81 model rifle Lady Franklin Bay Expedition

I'm looking for the name and model number of a Remington rifle given to Lt. Fredrick Kislingbury before leaving on A.W. Greely's Lady Franklin Bay, arctic expedition of 1881. He was second in command...the rifle was a ceremonial gift :?:
