Weird Carbine

Post by rudybolla »

Described as a .44-40 Baby Carbine. Unmarked tang. Markings on breech I am unfamiliar with. Gotta be foreign mfg. or a Frankengun.

David,
Made in Spain. If the third symbol on the breech with a star over it is an "S" then it was made in 1948. I have two Spanish-made rolling blocks in .44-40 in slightly different configurations. One of them shoots extremely well.
