That gun should be from late 1911. The company name was changed from Remington Arms Co. to Remington Arms - Union Metallic Cartridge Co. early iin 1911. The 1911-12 Remington Arms - Union Metallic Cartridge Co. catalogue was the first using the "Model No. 11" terminology.

I personally use the stamping on the gun as the defining factor.
If the upper and lower tangs of the receiver are not stamped "Remington" and "UMC" in a circle then I consider it a Remington Autoloading Shotgun.
