You have a Model 16 Remington. It was chambered for the 22 Rem Autoloading cartridge. There were approximately 17,700 made between 1914 and 1931.
It looks like your serial # is 1427 which would put it in the first year of production.
If you ever decide to shoot the rifle (I probably wouldn't), be sure to get the correct ammo. Only 22 Remington autoloading will work. It is neither easy nor cheap ($25 or more per box) to find.

Any idea what type of value it might have? Not that I have any interest in selling it.
