I am selling, via Gunbroker, a 742 C Woodmaster in 30-06,( # 377585776) along with a extra butte stock and fore arm AND 3 boxes of 30-06 ammo.I bought the gun many years ago and never use it,so time for it to move on.I am thinking about the same for my 788 carbines as I never use them either.
When I retired and moved to Oregon I planned on using it for big game: Elk, Mt. Lions and Bears. As it turned out I won a .325 WSM at the RME dinner and never looked back.It fact I now own two .325, one a Win. model 70 Ultimate Shadow and the other, I won also, a custom built from a Rem. 700 receiver.
To date I have shot about 8 Elk, 12 Bears and 2 Mt lions.
For out of state hunters, Mt lions can be baited, limit 2 per year.Bears can NOT be baited, limit 2 per year,3 with a spring tag.
