INFO ABOUT SCOPE RINGS

HI all. I'm a newbie to this forum, but as I'm a huge remington fan, it seemed a logical place to check for info. My basic question is... I have a remington 700 bdl dm in 7mm mag. I've already purchased a Bushnell Trophy 4x12x40 scope. What I'd like to know is - does anyone have or use Weaver quad lock scope rings? If so, are these a suitable choice for this fine weapon? THANKS
