Will a 12-121 tang sight work on a Mod. 25 Remington? If not can they be modified to work.

My Old Gunsights book shows the M/12 & 121 using the Lyman R-7 sight and the M/25 using the R-11. I don't have a M/25 or a R-11, so I don't know what size they are.
