Hi!

I am NOT an authority on 513T's except for the fact they are pretty neat old rifles.

Lets use a process of elimination, production was from 1940-1967ish so that would eliminate 1923. If your serial is 5 digit, it probably dates to 1945, and I "think" the high end of the serial range would have been about 166,000 so that would place it in 1967..............all this is a bit iffy but I think the later ones (starting in about 1950-55) had grooved receivers, yours does not.

So I'm thinking in order to properly date this rifle it has to be a combination of serial/barrel code. I'm sort of shooting in the dark here but I hope this helps!
