Need info and value of Remington-Keene rifle

I have a Remington-Keene rifle which I think is the carbine model with 20" barrel. I have the serial number as 1997 written down, but I can not find it again on the rifle. Overall the rifle appear to be in pretty good shape but I think it is missing the spring in the magazine--if it ever had one? Any info on this rifle would be apprecited such as dates, scarcity, value if any, etc. If you send me your e-mail address I can send a picture. Thanks, Don
