EW is oct '28. the SRC is an extremely rare gun. you are a lucky guy. if the 35 doesn't have a barrel code it is pre-22. the s/n on the receiver is a start to dating it but there are other things like the shell indicator type, barrel roll markings, etc that can help triangulate it a bit. ken blauch's book has a lot of detail on dating these old timers.
