They only made the 1900 from 1900-1910.
If it's a Damascus barrel you definitely DON'T want to shoot it.

Admin - Don't know why you say that you "definitely shouldn't shoot it". Many damascus guns are being shot very successfully today. Have the gun inpected by a capable SxS gunsmith, then shoot low pressure loads like those available from RST. Great stuff

According to Charles Semmer's book Remington Double Shotguns, there were a very few 20-gauge Model 1900 produced right at the end of production. Q39xxxx no doubt. Make sure the gun in question isn't a much more common 16-gauge.
