Hello all, Simon here...
this is my first post and i did a search regarding the question i am about to ask and came up with no luck..
i have recently bought a remington 7600 LT police in .308 Win, and was wondering if anyone could help me out with my question.
i would like to ask... are there any and if so which magazines that have a higher capacity than the standard magazine supplied with the rifle, which will be compatible with my rifle, i am looking for a larger capacity magazine and was wondering what magazine and "off what gun is it" that has say a 10 or 15 round mag that will fit the 7600 and function correctly..
cheers simon.
all help appreciated.
Question for Newbee... (recently aquired 7600)
Simon,
I have a 7600 30-06 and to would like to have a bigger magazine. I have tried the ones 10rd steel and 10rounds plastic with very little sucess. The ones I now use are factory four round magazines. One in the chamber four in the magazine with two loaded magazines in my pocket. The four round magazines from Remington function perfectly as long as you are not timid with the slide when you chamber a new round.

thank you for hte reply..
yes i have seen the steel 10 round and have been told that it WILL funtion correctly, as you said if you work the action throughly/hard, that doesnt bother me... i beleive the gun is made to be worked hard, it has those tolerances.
but i cant justify paying 100 AUD for a 10 round mag... i have heard that hte ex australian military semiautomatic SLR rifles (30 round mag) might possibly work... once again... havent had a confirmation as yet.
cheers simon.
