You have a first year production. It should be stamped 22 Long Rifle (not S, L,LR). It should have a steel inner mag tube; not brass.

My earliest was a M/12-B that was #26. That was interesting because Rem records show that the 12-B was introduced in 1910 and my rifle was obviously a 1909 production.
