Remington Model 34 .22 Bolt Action Rifle

I recently obtained a Remington Model 34 .22 rifle on a trade. Serial # is 883XX. The forearm has a nine inch crack on the bottom from the front and extends back past the bolt that holds the barrelled action in the stock. I think it can be repaired by someone who knows what he is doing. The butt plate is a homemade piece of sheet metal. The sight ramp is missing and the external metal needs some cleaning with steel wool, but the blueing is not too bad considering its age. The bore is bright and shiney and it has a nice crisp trigger pull. It appears to be in good shooting condition. I am not a collector and would be willing to trade this rifle for a a rifle that I can keep in my camper. I live in Colorado and would prefer to trade here.
