Does anyone know if the 1970 Wingmaster came new with a plain barrel (no rib)?

Thanks, Rem!!! Due to your help, I am fairly sure I have dated these 2 Wingmasters correctly....July 1970 and March 1983, and I do believe the barrels are original. The bbls. were both dated in the same time period as the receiver, although that doesn't prove they are original, but since they are 28", I think they more than likely are. I am going to receive the mate to the 1970 gun soon. It is a 20ga. on a 12ga. frame. I'll bet they hadn't started making the LW yet.
