Model 12C Question

Post by stevenjay1 »

I picked up what I believe to be an early Model 12C and I hope that someone can help with the production date. The serial number is 27370 and the gun seems to be complete, will used but not abused. The bore has some pitting but the rifling is still strong and gun shoots and functions well. I do like the old stuff! Here are some pictures and thanks in advance. Steve

Your 12-C was made in 1910, the second year of production. I recommend that you shoot only standard velocity ammo. That's what it was designed for plus the imperfect bore.
