I just wanted to thank the Remington Society for posting the manufacture date code chart on your web site.

I was cleaning my Remington Model 121, .22 pump rifle this evening after target shooting this morning, and I was wondering about the significance of the "KK" stamped into the left side of the barrel. This was my dad's rifle when he was young, and he used it to teach me to shoot when I was a kid back in the mid-50's. It's still in beautiful original condition and I intend to keep it that way.

My dad has been gone for three years, but I remember the good old days with him every time I handle this rifle. Now I know that it was manufactured in May of 1941.

Thanks,
