Model 17 pump

I have an old Model 17, 20 gauge pump, which is the same as the latter Ithaca Model 37 (same patent). My problem is sometimes it fires a second shot as the slide is worked forward after ejecting the first spent shell. I realize this has something to do with a disconnector but is there a part I can replace to prevent this from happening? I cannot make it do this when dry firing, it just happens randomly and my finger is not on the trigger when moving the slide forward.

One thing to check is if the fireing pin os broken or stuck in the forward position. I that isn't the problem, good luck in finding the parts. Be safe.
