Model 721 ser. # & stock

Ser. # is 110196 on right side of barrel. Can anyone give me the year of mfg? I cannot read any other code.
Also, the stock is a very grainy wood with no luster. Was this common, or might I have a replacement barrel? Are there any specifics that would confirm the original barrel?

your 110196 721 should have a WW on the barrel near the receiver indicating 1950 made. Maybe UU - 1949. The stocks were very plain on the common models.
