sorry..I posted this in WTB by mistake...am re-posting.....
HI, just stumbled across the site.
I have 2 model 12's...one marked 12 and one 12-A.
The older one, ser # 94587 is interesing as it appears to have been used as a
gallery gun in England. It has numerous British proof marks, a Parker Hale Tang sight, sling swivels, metal buttplate (looks non original), and has a stock stamp that says H Jones, Manchester Street, Liverpool. I guess it from about 1911???
The newer one says 12-A. Serial # 471, 913 and is 100% original.
Be interested if anyone can tell me year of manufacture on both.
thanks Mike

M/12s
Mike:
According to factory records your early M/12 was made in late 1911. It certainly sounds like it spent some time across the pond. Unfortunately there are no records to indicate where the rifle was shipped.
The other M/12 was made in mid-1919.
