Hi I am new here so Ill ask a dumb question. a friend has a mdl 742 remington arms company 150th anniversary Model. and I would like to buy it. neither of us have any idea of it's value and cannot find it in any of the gun values books. and no one I have talked to know anything about them . he inhearted it from his father and he is not a gun nut like me. I want to be fair to him. it is new un fired in the original box with all the papers. stock # on box 9630,, Serial # 2249XX. please help us with any info you can > I think it was made in 1966...
