remington model 10, 12 gauge

I have a chance to buy a remington model 10 , 12 gauge , 29:" barrel but my research only shows a model 10 in 10 gauge ? can anybody help? TIA

I'm not a shotgun collector but I do have a few catalogs. The 1915-16 catalog shows only a 12 Gauge in the model 10. The catalog also gives barrel lenghts of 26, 28, 30 and 32 inch lenghts. The 1923 catalog shows the same thing.

I just looked in the 1913-14 catalog and found the same thing.

Unless I am looking at the wrong model, It looks like the model 10 was only made in the 12ga. I also have concerns about the 29" barrel.

I would recommend that you post your shotgun questions in the shotgun section. That way you might get a reply from someone who knows them. Happy shooting.

Just looked at Remington Arms web page. Seems there is a SP-10 shotgun. This is a semi-auto shotgun made in 10ga. The old model 10 was a pump action 12ga. Hope this helps in your search.
