My knowledge of rifles is very limited, I usually hunt with a model 870 shotgun, not much call for a .22 in my neck of the woods. I just acquired this weapon do to a death in the family and I would like to know what if anything it is worth, I really have no use for it nor does my kid. It looks BRAND new MINT conditon....fired maybe 10 times. It is a Targetmaster 510-X 22 cal. smooth bore. I have no idea when my great uncle aquired it but on the side of the barrel near the receiver is stamped XN49.....The stock is imacculate not a nick or dent.....I mean this thing really looks new....I just don't need it and I would like to get it to someone who might appreciate it.
ANY help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

Bill;
The Model 510-X was made from 1964-1966. The Smooth Bore is a bit unusual. The exact number produced is unknown. There are folks who collect smooth bore 22 rifles as a specialty. If you want to sell the gun, I suggest going to a local gun shop or some gun shows. If the gun is as you describe, it should retail for $200-$250. If you sell it to someone looking to resell it, you might get close to $200.00.
Hope this helps.
