Remington factory letter

Hello,

I'm a gun collector and CAS-shooter from Germany. I have two historic Remington revolvers and want to know more about them.

The first is a model 1858 factory conversion to .44 CF.

The second is a model 1890, which is probably a model 1888 fake, because of the old barrel engravings.

Where do I get factory letters or more information about these guns ?
