Remington 1875 and 1890 Barrel address. mine are Diffrent ??

Ok i have what i think is a nickled 1890 (could be a 1875) but i think its a 1890 but istead of the normal E remington & son barrel address mine says

Remington Arms co. ilion.n.y

Is that normal or did remington change there barrel address on the later 1890 guns?
Its the short barreled gun 5 and 3/4s or so does not look cut down.

All 1890's have Remington Arms co, if you have an what you believe is any 1890 with a E Remington address it's an 1888 (or a faked one made from an 1875 with the loading arm web removed).

OK good i didnt know that.
Its a 1890 for sure then as the barrels orignal to the frame with some orignal nickle remaining.
Its the only gun ive got with that barrel address.
All my other ones are marked E remington ect
