Model 12A Otagon barrel

Looking for more specific information on my rifle. I know it is a model 12A with an otagon barrel, it has patent dates on the barrel of Jan 5, 1909; Oct 12, 1910; Nov 21, 1911; Apr 16, 1912. Serial Number is 660XXX
Remington Arms-Union Metallic Cartridge Co

By what I could find I am assuming it was made in mid to late 1912 or 1913.

Can you narrow that down for me?

Well it can't be a 12A with a hexagon barrel unless it someone replaced it with a barrel from a 12C, A is round C is hexagon.
With that serial no it would have been make in 1926 and it will be date code stamped on the barrel, check the manufactured date link off the home page.
