Hi all,
I'm new to this forum, so please bear with me. I have an old Remington 511-P that my grandfather owned. I have a couple of questions about it. First, how would I find out when it was made, and second, the rear peep sight is missing, so does anyone know where I might find an original to put on it? Thanks.

Thank you, Ken! I've now got a date (Dec. '51). I actually found a new manufacture sight that will work, but I just thought it would be cool to get an original.
