I can help you out with this situation. I have an original complete rear peep sight for the 341P and I can copy the manual for you , or you can call Remington direct and get a copy of the 341 manual. My email address is jonjlasky@aol.com and send me an email and I will send you pics of the peep sight. I don't know where you are located, but it would probably only cost about $5.00 to ship the sight, but I paid $60 at a gun show last year because they are so scarce to find, I thought I would pick up a spare. I since then have obtained a very nice 341P from a good friend and it is all I would need. SO if you are interested, let me know. You won't find once complete for much less.

Re: Remington 341-P
Hey G,I also have one of those lovable 341p's. From what I understand most a lot of them had their "peeps" removed. Try this link http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/Det ... catid=4263 it may help you. Mine made it thought with it's original sights, however I am having a carrier issue. There is something missing but I just can't tell what. The issue is with loading a round. It'll fire if you manually load(single shot), but when you pull the bolt back to reload, the shell just binds up and never makes it close to the barrel. Any suggestions?

Re: Remington 341-P
Can someone tell me the proper name for the "thumb screw" that controls elevation on the peep sight? Ironically, it's the only remaining part of the peep sight pictured in this thread above, but I need one. I went to Numrich and a couple other sources and am trying to confirm ... is it the Rear Sight Base Screw? Thanks, Drew

Re: Remington 341-P
Jim,
THANK YOU! I didn't realize the "screw" I was looking for was actually the second aperture. Gives me an even greater appreciation for the design/rifle. I'll try ordering one from the site you referenced and let you know how it works out. Thanks, Drew
