Removing nickel plating

I have a Number 1 rolling block action with some nickel plating left. I want to get the receiver ready to case color. Any way to easily remove this plating? Thanks!

Take it to a nickel plating company and ask them to de-plate it. It is plating in reverse and takes a few days and a few bucks. Sand it down with 320 grit wet sandpaper and send it to your Case Color man. Jay Huber RSA huber7774@bellsouth.net
