I just found this item. No wood on it; just rusted metal. Cleaning a bit with electrolysis has discovered something
Can someone help identifying it? Maybe something similar to a Model 9?
Not interested in value; just for fun and to know more about this ancient piece.
Serial number is 8085, as stated on the barrel and near the trigger.
As you can see, the electrolysis method discovered the entire mechanism, that now is full working again. This is really incredible; the starting point can be seen on the barrel, but was worse than that; really a ball of rust!
