Old 1820's Muzzle load rifles

Hi, I just joined the RSA. I was looking for info on the earlyest of the sport muzzle load rifles that E. Remington built in early 1800's I have a rifle that I believe he built when he was just starting. In a 1964 issue of Gun magazene there is a picture and article on a gun that he had built for a gent in New York and it is in the Remington museum, my rifle looks the same but is a high grade model. It is engraved on the lock and is exceptionally well done. Is there anyone in the Remington Museum that I can talk to?
