Help with remington760 w/.223cal; rem model 6 w/308 please!

Hello, I desperately need help identifying and trying to value these rifles - they are my father's and I need to sell to pay for his medical care!
I have a Remington .223 Gamemaster Model 760, sn#5278xx - of 600 made;
and a Remington Model 6, .308 pump, w/Butler scope; sn#440417xx, one of 1200 made. Both in very good condition - there is a shell embedded in Model 6, in the front bottom side of the trigger; my father has cared for these with pride.
I have tried so hard to figure this out, but can not find any information on what they would be worth or how to sell...
If you can help, it would be very very much appreciated!
